Kònic thtr is an artistic platform based in Barcelona aimed at contemporary creation at the border between art, new technologies and science. Its main focus of activity is in the application of interactive technology to artistic projects.

Creation → performances, concerts, installations and videocreations. The artistic projects of Kònic thtr, in staged or installation format incorporate interactive technologies, audiovisual and multimedia languages, as well as performance, music and dance.
Research → new languages of contemporary creation and communication. The research undertaken is aimed at developing interactive devices that facilitate the communication between the audience and/or actors with the digital information in multimedia performances and installations.
Training → labs and workshops. Kònic thtr share their experiences and knowledge in the field of research and creation with new technologies applied to the art by proposing various workshops and labs.
Publications → multimedia cdroms, videographic and discographic pieces. Kònic thtr also generate publications in diverse formats to document their activities or as a creative means in itself.
Transdisciplinarity. The projects undertaken by Kònic thtr are a point of encounter between artists, theoreticians and technologists of diverse disciplines. This allows us to generate new creative proposals, new specific artistic proposals and new ways for contemporary culture.
Internationality. Kònic thtr is internationally renowned as pioneers in the use and incorporation of interactive technology in creative processes. Their projects have been shown Catalunya, Spain, Europe and America.
